  Description

Industrial manufacturers (2.4 million in Europe) claim to be losing 25% of product sales’ value due to unnecessary factory-floor industrial process quality control. Low quality in industrial processes brings long-term cost increase due to non-optimal utilization of industrial equipment, and is a trigger for costly and undesirable downtime and plant-floor incidents. Programming environments for automation systems are decades away from the likes of similar technologies employed by other industries. This lack of updated resources, causes engineers to lose control over the different factors that have an impact on the final quality of the resulting processes that eventually run at plant-floor. WonderLogix Studio is an end-to-end environment for industrial process design, simulation and PLC programming. It aims at streamlining the way in which Automated Control Systems are developed, by a combination of Model-Driven Engineering, code generation and cloud computing, in an all-in-one environment that overcomes the high segmentation of technologies in the market for design and control software development, reducing up to 3 times the high cost of commissioning. WonderLogix Ltd. was founded in 2015 by 2 engineers with more than 20 years together designing and implementing control systems. Our patented solution has been run in a range of pilot projects at real industrial facilities that received highly positive feedback, and the support from several private and public investors and grants. We have developed a distribution and partnership network that will support market launch, with 6 distributors, 9 system integrators and 6 pilots engaged, and the support from the world leading PLC vendor. This project will let us to accumulate a €8.8M net profit in 5 years, consolidate our brand, and create 17 new jobs. The scalability of our business model guarantees the accomplishment of these objectives only by capturing 3,235 users (<1% of the market share).
